Managing Risk Through Training

We rely on compliance training to ensure we manage risk and its associated cost. But how do we make compliance learning something employees see as their personal responsibility? In other words, how do we create a culture of compliance.

During this interactive workshop, Scott Petersen the Health, Safety and Environmental Specialist at Mars Wrigley Las Vegas will share his journey to a compliance culture. Scott along with Michelle Kennedy, VP Instruction with Dale Carnegie of Nevada will outline a strategy to bridge the gap between Risk Management Compliance and a Culture of Compliance.

Workshop objectives include:

1. Understanding the Difference between Risk Management and Compliance

2. How to Create a Culture of Managing Risk

3. Bridging the Gap between Risk and Training

4. Creating Predictable Outcomes

Participants will leave with a better understanding of what a culture of compliance looks like and how to support this in their organizations.
