That is the number of children being diagnosed with autism, children who will grow up to be adults with autism.  According to Autism Speaks, a leading advocacy organization for individuals on the spectrum, more than 500,000 children and teenagers with autism will reach adulthood and join the job market in the next 10 years.

Join us as we partner with the Autism Entrepreneurs Center, the first and only venture in the U.S. specifically established to help adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) start up and operate real for-profit businesses.  Created by LTO Ventures, the Autism Entrepreneurs Center works to provide ASD adults the specific guidance, tools and resources they need to create, launch and operate their own real for-profit companies.

We will help coach these young adults by helping them develop business ideas out of their individual interests, and exploring the feasibility of selling their own product or service.  Interests of these individuals range from computers/video games to home cleaning to furniture repair and construction.

This is a rewarding and unique opportunity for us to "find the coachable moments" with an amazing group of young people and help them reach their professional goals.

The Autism Entrepreneurs Center conducts their regular meetings twice a week, so there will be TWO chances to join us for this event:

  • Friday, May 17 from 12-2pm  OR
  • Sunday, May 19 from 1-3pm

Please indicate whether you will be joining us on Friday, Sunday, or BOTH days
