Northern Nevada GIG Meeting!
According to the 2022 ATD State-of-the-Industry report, approximately 29% of all training was designed with the supervisor/manager/executive in mind. Recent estimates put the dollar amount in the billions of dollars.
For many companies, both public and private, this amount is a wager. A wager that their learning and development group is designing and delivering the most relevant content. It is also a wager as to whether or not their organization's performance will increase as a result of highly-trained leaders.
In this session, we will examine the foundation of any successful learning and development program, particularly as it pertains to leadership development: competencies. From there, we will explore best practices for individual learning activities as well as best practices for overall program development and management. Our research and anecdotes will span both public, private, and quasi entities. Come prepared to share and discuss what you believe is working well for organizations as well as what can change. By the end of the session, we will have a rough outline of a high-value leadership development program.
Log-in information for this virtual event will be provided after registration.
