ASTD Las Vegas' Night of Service at Three Square Food Bank

Did you know that 1/6 households in Nevada struggle with hunger?  That is more than 300,000 of our neighbors. Upon learning this, ASTD decided to join the fight against hunger. We will be helping the Backpack Program, designed to meet the needs of hungry children at times when free or reduced-price school lunches are not available, such as weekends and school vacations.  The program provides backpacks filled with kid-friendly food that children take home on the weekends. We will stuff bags with food, replenish stock, separate bags, and place them into school bins.  Help us help them.
