It's time to go BACK TO THE FUTURE!!!

Debbie Richards has long been recognized as an industry expert in future trend and technology that will affect our lives as Talent Development Professionals, and routinely speaks at industry conferences including TechKnowledge, ATD ICE, and DevLearn. She will be speaking with us on how out industry is changing and how we must adapt to continue to be effective partners in developing both today's and tomorrow's workforce.

The global pandemic has changed a lot of things for organizations around the world. It accelerated remote work, put a new an emphasis on technology, and put the employee experience (EX) in the spotlight. For many organizations, the crisis brought to the forefront the discrepancy between the skills people have and those needed for jobs in the digital world. The need to upskill and reskill workers on these technologies is critical for an organization to stay ahead of the competition. Technology is changing rapidly, and if you fail to keep up, you will be left behind. How can you adopt a futuristic mindset and help your organization shape the future? How can you identify obstacles and opportunities? In this session, we will explore strategies to drive a positive impact for your organization. We’ll also have fun exploring immersive learning technologies.

    Join us for our
    October Chapter Meeting!

In the world of Talent Development, Compliance is seen as a nasty topic that revolves around those lessons that legal and HR require your workforce to complete on a regular basis. Compliance can also be seen as a positive business strategy, where it is used as a tool to assess and evaluate the quality of the learning organization In this sense, we step outside the traditional Kirkpatrick and Phillips Assessment and Evaluation Models and present a holistic view of the entire Learning Organization that doesn't focus on a single learning event, course, or program.

At the end of this session the participant will be able to:

    1. Identify the need for formalized Learning Development, Delivery, and Management Processes
    2. Develop a formal Compliance and Assessment Plan that supports the entire organization
    3. Discuss how to review and assess the major components and aspects of their Learning Organization
    4. Present as assessment's findings to management

Coaching is a way of transforming any conversation into one that leaves people focused, confident, and committed to take action. While most leaders agree coaching is critical to the their success, many fall short because they don't have the time or knowledge to put coaching into practice. In this session, Bill Bennett will help attendees evaluate their mindset on individual and team performance and understand what true coaching looks like. Bill will introduce a best-in-class coaching framework that will leave participants with the knowledge and confidence to turn any conversation into a coaching conversation.

Coaching can be an enjoyable aspect of leading and mentoring, but it's become a necessity for any manager looking to improve engagement and productivity.

    During this session we will:

    • Evaluate a set of leadership competencies
    • Identify best practices in leadership program development

You will receive a survey to help Bill identify the group's needs and tailor his discussion, shortly before this event.  Please complete and submit it to ensure maximum effectiveness.

Bill Bennet is the CEO of InsideOut Development, a workplace coaching that provides management training programs for fortune 500 companies like Apple, Salesforce.com, and others. Bill has 30 years of leadership experience, including 15 years in the training industry. Prior to InsideOut Development, Bill spent nearly a decade at Franklin Covey as division president and IBM and other emerging tech companies.

This will be a hybrid event, with networking opportunities available for in-person attendees.
