ATD Las Vegas Mastermind Group: Collaborate, Share, Grow
Looking for a space to collaborate on current projects, get peer feedback, and work through challenges with fellow training and professional development professionals? The ATD Las Vegas Mastermind Group is a monthly, 90-minute informal gathering where members come together to share ideas, offer support, and help each other out in a confidential, peer-driven environment.
Unlike a structured workshop, this group is about real-time collaboration—bring what you’re working on, seek input from others, and gain fresh perspectives to enhance your impact. The group will determine the topics, ensuring discussions are always relevant and valuable.
Sessions are led by President-Elect, Jaime Sims McBride, a Holistic Personal Development Educator, Coach, Leadership Guru, and Sounding Board for Women at all stages of life.
Nitty Gritty Consulting SIG
Whether you are an internal or external consultant, you need certain skills to be successful. Join us for our six-session special interest group where we will walk you through what it takes to be an effective consultant and how to show your value.
During our first session, we will introduce the topics, learn about the Participants, decide meeting dates and discuss next steps. At each of our subsequent sessions we will discuss one skill, apply it to a case study, and discuss how you can incorporate the skill in your work right away.
Topics for subsequent hybrid sessions include:
- Know the why
- Methodologies
- Be the resource
- Know your worth
At the end, we will hold a wrap up session where you will be able to share what was learned, and how applying the skills has helped increase your effectiveness as an internal or external consultant.
Our first session and introduction will be virtual on April 1, 2025. Subsequent meetings will be hybrid. In person meeting sites will be determined after our first session, located in the southwest part of Las Vegas.
Sessions will be led by Kim D. Snyder. She is a Change Management keynote speaker, thought leader and consultant. She works with organizations that want to improve on Innovation, Leadership, Sales, Future Ready and Change Ready.
She is a corporate leader and a small business owner. As a corporate leader and consultant, Kim has spent 15+ years working with executives and leaders in Fortune 500 organizations to execute enterprise wide transformation and projects. Kim is a 4-time entrepreneur through out the years in accounting and tax, online marketing and SEO (search engine marketing), residential maid and a professional services company.
She is a certified virtual speaker, and podcast host and author. Kim is a happy wife to Rob, a recovering perfectionist, foodie, and gadget girl!
CPTD Study Group
This study group will help you study for the CPTD Certification Exams.
- We partner with the ATD Rocky Mountain Chapter, other ATD Chapters, and students across the US to help prepare you for the exam.
- Candidates will meet weekly for 12 weeks.
- As part of this SIG you will need the TD Book of Knowledge available here.
- The study group is free for Greater Las Vegas chapter members.
Cohort 1
- Informational session: Tuesday, February 18, 2025, 4:30-6:30 pm PST
- Sessions meets every Tuesday from February 25 - May 13, 2025, 4:30-6:30 pm PST
Cohort 2
- Informational session: Tuesday, August 26, 2025, 4:30-6:30 pm PST
- Sessions meets every Tuesday from September 2 - November 18, 2025, 4:30-6:30 pm PST
